Viola Darlene Buckley

Coquille - Private family services for Viola Darlene Buckley, 77, Coquille, will be held today, conducted by Pastor Melvin Wiggers of Hauser Community Church.



Private interment will be at Myrtle Crest Cemetery, Coquille, under the direction of Amling-Schroeder Funeral Servie, Coquille, 396-3846.



She was born Feb. 18 (sic - should be 26), 1918, at Tampico, Ill. and died June 16, 1995, at home of natural causes after an extended illness.



She came to Oregon from Illinois in 1950. She married Edwin G. Buckley on June 18, 1938, at Eagle Point Park, Ill.



She enjoyed her many friends at the Bird Cage Restaurant in Coquille, her family and her grandchildren.



Survivors included her husband, Edwin G. Buckley of Coquille; two sons, LaVern Buckley of Missoula, Mont., and David Buckley of Newberg; a daughter, Judity Mesi, Newbert; eight grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. ****end of obit****
