FRESH TAMPICO NEWS ITEMS:

Mrs. H. M. Searcy died suddenly of heart trouble, Friday morning at her home on Main Street in the Pierce Bldg. She went to bed Thursday night feeling well, but about 3 o'clock she complained of a cough and told Mr. Searcy that she thought she would not survive until morning. He immediately summoned a doctor, but she was past hope when he arrived, dying at 4 o'clock. The funeral arrangements have not yet been made.

Tampico - Mrs. H. M Searcy died of heart failure last Friday morning after a sickness of only an hour's duration. Funeral Services were held at the baptist church Sunday afternoon. She leaves a husband and 3 children.

Editor's note: Mr. & Mrs. Howell Searcy are buried in the Tampico Memorial Cemetery. The headstone is hand-painted.
