George A. Ingle

            .TAMPICO- George A. Ingle, 60, died Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Trinity Medical Center in Rock Island.  He was an overland truck driver for many years.

            Mr. Ingle was born March 24, 1948 in Chicago the son of Allen and Betty (Taylor) Ingle.  He married Carol Meier on February 22, 1970 in Lyndon.

            Survivors include his wife Carol; three daughters Denise (Mike) Bates of Rock Falls, Angela Ingle of Tampico and Amy Westlund of Augusta, GA; one son Gary (Nickie) Ingle of Yorktown; two sisters Shirley (Walter) Kennedy of Chicago and Darlene (Marlow) Elbert of Layon, UT’ two brothers Jerry (Pat) Kutz of Joliet and Robert Kutz of Florida and seven grandchildren.

            He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Yvonne Salsman.

            There will be no funeral services.  Visitation was held Monday, July 14, 2008 at the Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling.

            A memorial has been established.
