Death of Magnus Peterson Sunday
Tampico, Ill. - March 23 - (Special) - The passing away of Magnus Peterson was a shock to the community as he had been in his usual health until last Thursday. He complained of not feeling well and was not around as usual. On Friday he seemed drowsy and finally fell into a deep sleep, and slept peacefully away on Sunday about 10:30 o'clock in his home in Tampico.
Mr. Peterson was 76 years old and was a highly respected citizen. He lived in this vicinity many years and in Tampico about ten years, having moved here when he retired from farming. He was a man of quiet disposition and a good neighbor and true friend.
The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at his late home, Rev. I. A. Woodrow in charge.
(Buried in Tampico Cemetery)
