Tampico - Ethel M. “Bobbie” Forward, age 93, of 2128 Tampico Road, Tampico, Illinois died Sunday February 14, 2010 at Walnut Manor Nursing Home in Walnut.


She was born on April 29, 1916 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of Grover and Emma (Hartman) Etherton. “Bobbie” was united in marriage to Albert Forward on December 23, 1950 in Geneva, Illinois.

She is survived by one sister Mrs. Bill (Norma Jean) McPheron of Decatur, Illinois; numerous nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews including Helen (John) Buckley of Tampico, Illinois, Julie(Bruce) Dexter and son Michael of Tampico, Illinois, Gina Ramos and son Cody of Tennessee, Jessie(Don) Skibbe and three daughters Taylor, McKenzie and Rylie of Sterling, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and three sisters.

Graveside Services will be conducted on Thursday February 18 at 2pm at Tampico Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Monty Fox of Tampico United Methodist Church, pastor officiating. Private Visitation will be held on Thursday from 1 to 2 pm
at Garland Funeral Home in Tampico, Illinois. A MEMORIAL HAS BEEN ESTABLISHED IN HER MEMORY .
