John Edberg Rites Tuesday Afternoon

 Prophetstown: - Funeral services for John W. Edberg, 68, who died Sunday morning in his home in Portland Township, were held Tuesday afternoon in the Prophetstown Methodist Church, with Rev. C. F. Chasteen officiating.  Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery.

 Pallbearers were Melvin Moore, Leter Lindahl, Ernest Sawyer, LeRoy C. Johnson, John L. Johnson and Leonard Johnson.  Mr. and Mrs. D. O. Bayles, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Moews and Mr. and Mrs. Eli Upton assisted with flowers.  Mrs. V. R. Olmstead played the organ and Lloyd Wildman sang.
