Frank D. Irvine Rites Friday In Gardner Chapel

Prophetstown: - Frank D. Irvine, 85, passed away June 15, at the Wilson Nursing Home in Rock Falls.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 17, at 2 p.m. (CST) at the Gardner Chapel in Prophetstown, the Rev. A. Swaney of Leon officiating. Burial will be in the Leon Cemetery.

Frank Irvine was born Sept. 4, 1869, in Whiteside County, the son of Harrison and Mary Jane Goodell Irvine. He lived his entire life in the Leon and Woodard Bluff communities. He attended the Leon Methodist Church.

He was married to May Bogart in Leon, Jan. 2, 1894.  She preceded him in death in 1950.

He is survived by nephews, nieces and cousins.
