EDWARD  P  CUNNINGHAM

Edward P. Cunningham, Lifelong Resident of Hahnaman Passes Tuesday

Edward P. Cunningham, 73, life-long resident of Hahnaman Township, passed away at the Linton Nursing Home in Sterling at 5:55 p.m. Tuesday. He had been a patient there eight weeks and in poor health for three years.

The rosary will be recited at the Parent Chapel in Tampico,Wednesday evening at 8 p.m.  Funeral services will be in St. Mary's Church in Tampico, Thursday at 9:30 a.m. with the Rev. A. W. Weitekamp of Prophetstown offering the requiem mass.  Committal will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mr. Cunningham was born in Hahnaman, Oct. 10, 1872, attended the Reeves school and married Grace Devine, Feb. 14, 1906 at Tampico.  Mrs. Cunningham passed away Sept. 7, 1943. He was a member of St. Mary's Church.

Surviving are two children, Mrs. Charles Hagerman on the home farm and Edw. Cunningham, Chicago;  two grandchildren, Eddie and Patricia Cunningham, Chicago, four sisters, Nellie Cunningham, Chicago, Mrs. Mary Mannion and Mrs. Sarah Donahue, Sterling, and Mrs. Margaret O'Neil, Milwaukee, Wis., and three brothers, Frank and Thomas, Deer Grove, and Charles, Minneapolis, Minn.

He was preceded in death, besides his wife, by one sister and two brothers.
