CURTIS D. HUNT
New Bedford: - Curtis D. Hunt, 82, died Sunday at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton. Graveside services and burial will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Greenville-Fairfield Cemetery in New Bedford with Rev. William Robinson officiating. There will be no visitation and the Howard Johnson Funeral Home in Manlius is in charge of arrangements. A memorial has been established to the Manlius Rescue Unit.
He was born July 16, 1906 in New Bedford, the son of Charles and Katherine Draper Hunt. He married Edna Green in 1938 and she died in 1949. He then married Zelma Carrell on July 12, 1951 in Oolitic, Ind., and she survives. Mr. Hunt had retired from GBH Way Homes in Walnut where he had worked for 30 years. He was a member of the New Bedford Christian Church and the Modern Woodmen of America.
He is survived by three sons; Charles and Wesley of Manlius, Harold of Dixon; one daughter, Mary Smith of Indianapolis, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; one stepson, William Carrell of Sterling; and five step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister.
