MYRLE  D.  NUTTER 

Prophetstown: - Myrle D. Nutter, 88, Prophetstown, formerly of East Moline, died Monday, Nov. 1, 1999, at the Prophets Riverview Good  Samaritan Center, Prophetstown.

Memorial services will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Gardner-Gibson Funeral Chapel, Prophetstown.  Inurnment will be at a later date at Eldorado Cemetery, rural Harrisburg.  Visitation will follow the services until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A memorial has been established.

Mr. Nutter was born July 22, 1911, in Salem, Ore., the son of Frank and May (Stearns) Nutter.  He married Augusta DePape in January, 1932.  Following her death, he married Anna Boreland in June, 1950.  She died in March, 1992.  He worked for the City of Moline's sewer and water department until his retirement.  Following his retirement, he served as road commissioner for Harrisburg Township for a number of years.

Survivors include three sons, Delbert Nutter of Prophetstown, Donald Nutter of Houston, and Jack Hartwell of Brownsville, Texas; sisters and brothers, Marion Bentfield, Edna Lemm, Delores Bruneau, Kathleen Thomas, Philip Nutter, and Arnold Nutter, all of Minnesota; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
