BRYAN  D.  ELMENDORF

Prophetstown:  - Bryan D. Elmendorf, 31, of rural Prophetstown, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2003, after a long illness.  Mr. Elemendorf was born Dec. 16, 1971, in Sterling, the son of Gary and Katherine (Kelley) Elmendorf.  He married Tammy Bailey on Feb. 27, 1994, in Sandy, Ore.  He was an avid outdoors-man and enjoyed scuba diving.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Hunter Orion Elmendorf at home; his parents of rural Prophetstown; two brothers, Eric E. (Angela) Elmendorf of Sterling and Aaron K. (Susan Marie) Elemendorf of Manlius; his paternal grandparents, Larry and Edith Elmendorf of Sterling; and his maternal grandmother, Merna Sones of Sandy, Ore. 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Kenneth Elmendorf.

Memorial service is at 1 p.m. Wednesday at McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory, Prophetstown. A gathering of friends and family is from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
