ELIZABETH CRANDALL
Prophetstown - Elizabeth M. Crandall, 66, of 638 East 3rd St., Prophetstown, died Nov. 25, 1991, at St. Anthony's Medical Center, Rockford.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church, Prophetstown, with the Rev. Bruce Janes officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Prophetstown. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Gardner Funeral Home, Prophetstown.

A memorial has been established.

Mrs. Crandall Feb. 27, 1925, in Tampico, the daughter of Geroge and Alma (Hart) Stickel. She graduated from Tampico High School in 1943. She married Harold E. Crandall May 3, 1944, in Tampico. She and her husband farmed in theTampico and Prophetstown communities for 45 years retiring in 1989. She was a life-time member of the Tampico United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. John (Gail) Carrillo of Sterling and Mrs. Kent (Diana) Verkruysse of Prophetstown; three sons, Dale (Terri) of Greenville, Ohio, Doughlas (Rachel) of Prophetstown, and Harold (Pam) of Rock Falls; 15 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. John (Mary) Bohm of Rock Falls and Mrs. LaVerne (Ruth) Bock of Arcadia, Fla; three brothers, Harold, Arthur and James Stickel, all of Tampico, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, and one granddaughter.
