Marvin Ackeberg

Marvin T. Ackeberg, 84, of Walnut Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Tampico, died Dec. 15, 2004, at Walnut Manor.

Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Garland Funeral Home, Walnut. Burial is in Tampico Memorial Cemetery. Visitation is 9 a.m. to services Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Walnut Manor Nursing Home or the Walnut United Methodist Church.

He was born Feb. 10, 1920, in Mendon, Mo., to Fingal and Minnie Anderson Ackeberg. He married Berniece Rosenow April 13, 1957, in Tampico. She preceded him in death Jan. 22, 2003.

Survivors (and spouses) are sister, Dorothy (Sam) Moose, Moline; brother, Howard (Thera) Ackeberg, Mesa, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews. His parents; and wife preceded him in death.
