August Jensen, 73, of New Bedford Passes Thursday Afternoon

 August Jensen, 73, of near New Bedford, passed away at the home Thursday at 2:35 p.m. as the result of a heart attack.  He had been ailing for some time and critically ill for a week.  Funeral services will be held from the home Sunday at 1:30 p.m. and from the Christian Church at 2 p.m.   Committal will be in the Fairfield Cemetery.

Mr. Jensen, a bachelor, was born at Sheffield, Aug. 17, 1870, the son of Peter and Dorothy Jensen. He moved with his parents to the New Bedford vicinity at the age of eight years and spent the rest of his life there.  He was a member of the Fairfield Lutheran Church.

Surviving are a brother, Anton, of New Bedford, and two sisters, Miss Martina Jensen of New Bedford and Mrs. Minnie Jorgensen of Rock Island.
