Infant Passes Away Shortly After Birth

A son, Hugh Robert, born to Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Hermes of Harmon Monday in the Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital, Dixon, passed away shortly after birth.  There was a short prayer service held this afternoon at 3:15 o'clock in the Meyer Funeral Home, followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Tampico.  The graveside service was in charge of Rev. T. O. Maguire of Tampico. 

Besides his parents, the infant is survived by two sisters, LaRita Marie and Rosemary, and one brother, Edward Francis; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Ed Hermes of Sterling and his maternal grandfather, E. J. O'Neil of Deer Grove.
