ELMA M. (Cryer) BRUDER
Tampico: - Mrs. Elma M. Bruder, 67, Grove Street, Tampico, died Saturday afternoon at Community General Hospital after a long illness.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bruder will be Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Yorktown, with the Rev. Robert J. LeMont, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Yorktown Cemetery, Yorktown. Friends may call at the Allen-Schmitt-Garland Funeral Home in Tampico on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., with the family present from 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial has been established in her memory.
Born on July 25, 1915, near Annawan, the daughter of Henry and Ella DeSplinter Cryer, she was united in marriage to Vernon Bruder on June 26, 1935, in Galesburg. He preceded her in death. She worked as the Assistant Cook at Tampico High School for the past 18 years. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Yorktown.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Donna) Radake, Mrs. George (Nancy) Tornow, and Mrs. Larry (Sharon) Cady, all of Tampico; one son, Dennis Vernon, Tampico; her mother, Mrs. Ella Cryer, Hooppole; one sister, Mrs. Harold (Pearl) Heitzler, Prophetstown.
Preceding her in death were her husband and her father.

The death notice printed in Monday's edition inadvertently omitted one brother, Donald Cryer, Hooppole and 13 grandchildren from the list of survivors. The Gazette regrets any inconveniences caused by this omission.
