Michael L. Rippy, age 53, of Clinton, Iowa, died Monday, April 21, 2008, at his home. 

Mr. Rippy was born July 31, 1954, in Sterling, Ill., the son of Robert and Grace (Rhodes) Rippy. He owned and operated Angelo’s in Fulton for 10 years. 

Survivors include one son, Michael J. Rippy of Prophetstown, Ill.; one sister, Joy (Bennie) Reyes of Shallow Water, Texas; two brothers, Lowell P. (Robin) Rippy of Erie, Ill., and Robert J. (Giselle) Rippy of Tampico, Ill.; and three grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepmother. 

Memorial services will be Friday, April 25, 2008, at 6:00 p.m. at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls with Reverend Carl Rhodes officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 5 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
