Lawrence J. Rajnowski, 75, of Sterling, died Thursday, August 30, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born September 22, 1936 in Stephen, Minnesota, he was a son of John and Delphine (Kulas) Rajnowski. He was united in marriage to Lynn Law on April 13, 1966 in Rockford.

He was a member of the Rock Falls Optimist Club, enjoyed playing cards and watching horse racing.

Surviving are his wife, Lynn, of Sterling; 2 sons, Ty (Tina) Rajnowski and Kyle Rajnowski both of Sterling; 2 grandchildren, Logan and Mackenzie Rajnowski; and a brother Ernest Rajnowski, of Sterling. His parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Rajnowski's wishes were for cremation rites to be accorded and no services will be held. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his memory. McDonald Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to www.mcdonaldfuneralhomes.com
