STERLING- Betty J. Zigler, age 87, died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at home.

Betty was born March 9, 1925 to William and Elizabeth (Royer) Aument in Dixon, IL. She married Philip M. Zigler on December 5, 1941 in Rock Falls, they were married for 55 years.

Survivors include; four sons, Gary (Joann) Zigler of Florida, Rick (Marge) Zigler of Tampico, David Zigler of Mt. Morris and Dale Zigler of Morrison; two daughters, Sandy Thrower of Sterling and Judy (Rick) Hurless of Sterling; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Philip M. Zigler Jr.; parents; 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Cremation rites have been accorded with the McDonald Funeral Home and Crematory in Rock Falls, IL.
