Tampico - Edna Fern (Swartzentruber)Schrock was born on July 9,1925 near Kalona, IA to Loyd and Elva (Kempf) Swartzentuber.

She peacefully passed away at her home on May 20, 2013, at the age of 87 years, 10 months, 11 days.

She was united in marriage to William Jacob Schrock on December 3, 1946. They shared the joys and sorrows of life for over 58 years.

This union was blessed with 4 sons and 4 daughters, of which 7 survive. Bertha (Mrs. Clarence Headings) of Blue River, WI; Nancy of the home; Clifford (Marie) of Bellevue, IA; Larry (Leola) of Middletown, MO; Lenora (late Herman Hostetler Jr.) of Deer Grove, IL; one infant daughter Miriam Jean who died at the age of one day; Earl (Leona) of Deer Grove, IL; Stanley (Carolyn) of Leola, PA.
She is survived by her 7 children, 32 grandchildren and 64 great-grandchildren; and a host of step family, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and infant daughter, Miriam Jean.
Funeral will be held on Thursday May 23, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at the Fairfield Amish Mennonite Church. Visitation will be held on Wednesday May 22, 2013 at the Fairfield Amish Mennonite School from 2:00-4:00 P.M. and 6:00-8:00 P.M.

The Garland Funeral Home in Tampico is handling the arrangements.
