Marjorie R. Zigler, 60, of Tampico, died Saturday, December 14, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born September 29, 1953 in Sterling, she was the daughter of Howard Taft and La Vonne Elizabeth (Zentz) Blanton. On October 2, 1976 she was united in marriage to Rick Lee Zigler in Rock Falls. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 20 years and had worked at Franklin Grove Living Center. She enjoyed sewing, shopping, doing crafts and going to rummage sales.

Those left to honor her memory include her husband Rick, of Tampico; her daughters, Cami (Brian) Emmerson of Kasbeer, Dawn White (Dave Bender) of Rock Falls, Beverlee (Brian) Burger of Tampico and Melissa Zigler (Jackie Ferguson) of Tampico; a son Rick Zigler Jr. (Kellsie Keesee) of Rock Falls; 2 brothers, Dave Blanton of Rock Falls and Harold Blanton of Prophetstown; 21 grandchildren, Christopher Brockman, Ethan Seidel, Tyler White, Miranda Brockman, Ashley Giddings, Dylan Zigler, Michael Giddings, Sadie Burger, Audrey Betts, Bret Emmerson, Samantha Burger, Junior Ferguson, Jared Betts, Austin Emmerson, Alyssa Ferguson, Harley Ferguson, Mikey Zigler, Zoey Ferguson, Liberty Zigler, Jaylynn Geeting, and Kloey Ferguson; and one great grandchild, Keira Seidel.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Howard, in infancy.

Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Tuesday at McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls. The funeral will be at 11:30 AM Wednesday at Rock River Christian Center with Reverend Brian Vickers, officiating. Burial will be at Tampico Memorial Cemetery. A memorial has been established in her memory.
