Stella Wright

Services for Stella Beatrice Wright, 85, formerly of Tampico, are 10 a.m.
Saturday at Garland Funeral Home, Tampico. Burial is in Greenville-Fairfield
Cemetery, New Bedford, Ill.

Visitation is 6 to 8 tonight. Memorials may be made to Tampico Ambulance
Service.

Mrs. Wright died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 1995, at Morrison Skilled Care Center.

The former Stella Beatrice Purvis was born June 3, 1909, in Hodgenville, K.Y.,
the daughter of Samuel and JuRendy Underwood Purvis. She married Lee E.
Wright June 4, 1927, in Davenport. He died Nov. 6, 1973. She married Fred W.
Wright May 31, 1975, in Mount Morris, Ill. He died May 26, 1978.

She was a member of Rock Falls Christian Church.

Survivors include daughters, Gailya Lee Chapin, Fairfield Glade, Tenn.,
Lucille Sawyers, Tampico, Ila Jean Behrens, Sterling, and Charlene Grimes,
Tampico; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two
greatgreat-grandchildren; three stepchildren; seven stepgrandchildren, several
stepgreat-grandchildren, sisters, Marie Wright, Mount Morris, Dorothy Whipple
and Verla Wooden, both of Princeton, Ill., Shirley Wood, Wyanet; a brother,
Merle Purvis, Princeton; and several nieces and nephews.
