Lois E Willis, 92 dies June 10 at C. L. C.

Lois E Willis, 92, of Rock Falls, died Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Coventry Living Center in Sterling.

Lois was born on July 11, 1921 to Charles and Bertha (Seely) Schryver in Erie. She married Ernest Willis in September of 1947 in Athens. He preceded her in death in 1989. Mrs. Willis was a member of Erie Christian Church.

Survivors include four daughters, Shirley Pope of Tampico, Annette Willis, Rebecca Higgins of Racine, WI, and Donna Peterson of Sterling; one son, David Willis of Phoenix, AZ; eight grandchildren' seventeen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings and one granddaughter.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m.., Saturday at Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling. Burial was in Lyndon Cemetery. Visitation was held from 12 noon - 1 p.m.., prior to services a the funeral home.
