ELSIE GASKILL

Sterling – Elsie B. Gaskill, 91, of Sterling, died Sept 29, 1999, in Spring Lake, N.C.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Local memorial services will be at a later date.

Mrs. Gaskill was born April 14, 1908, in Montmorency Township, the daughter of Frederick J and Margarata Vetter Schlott Behrens. She married Glenn Gaskill on Sept. 2, 1943. He died Aug. 25, 1964. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sterling, and an active member of the social circle of the church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mary Lou (Jerry) Baker of Spring Lake, N.C.; a stepdaughters, Sylvia (John) Venet of St. Clair Shores, Mich.; stepchildren, Chris, Gary, Rick and Julie, all of Michigan; two grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.
