Emma Elizabeth Kropf,100, of Tampico, passed away at her home under hospice care and with family caretakers by her side on Mon., Jan. 18, 2016. She was born Dec. 25, 1915, at Shelbyville, IL to Levi and Amanda (Yoder) Kropf. Emma relocated with her parents to Bureau County, where she lived since 1941, helping out at home and at the homes of her siblings and other family members as needed until the death of her parents after which, she moved to a mobile home close to her sister, Mrs. Joe Kropf. She was a member of the Fairfield Amish Mennonite Church near Tampico.

She is survived by 2 sisters, Wilma Hostetler, Sedalia, MO, Ruth Hostetler, Clarksville, AR, and 1 sister- in-law, Lily Kropf, Buffalo, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, 6 brothers, Simon, Raymond, Allen, Dave, Daniel and Owen and 4 sisters, Mrs. Mabel Kauffman, Mrs. Edna Shrock, Mrs. Alice Kropf and Ida Kropf, who died at the age of 3.

Visitation hours will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wed. Jan. 20, 2016 at the Fairfield A.M. School, Tampico. Funeral Services will be Thursday morning Jan. 21, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Fairfield A.M. Church, Tampico. Arrangements are being handled by Garland Funeral Home of Tampico.
