Anita was born on November 8, 1936, in Moline, the daughter of Charles and June (Paine) Santee. She married Lester LaVern Pratt on May 15, 1955, in Prophetstown. Anita was a lifelong member of the Prophetstown United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Lester; four children, Terry (Michele) Pratt of Prophetstown, Cindy Pratt of Prophetstown, Todd (Vickie) Pratt and Tim (Tanya)Pratt of Colona; two brothers, Earl (Shirley) Santee of Prophetstown and Donald Wayne (Peggy) Santee of Menomonie, WI; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 24, 2016, from 12:00-1:00 P.M. at the Prophetstown United Methodist Church. Funeral service will follow at the church at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Prophetstown.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Anita’s memory to the Prophetstown United Methodist Church, Good Samaritan Society, MS, Alzheimer’s or Compassus Hospice.
