Robert G. Morse, 65, died Sunday, January 24, 2016 at his home in Prophetstown.

Robert G. Morse was born December 28, 1950 in Sterling, the son of Charles Henry and Dorothy Irene Bryson Morse. He married Brenda Chism in Mendota on July 21, 1990. He served in the U. S. Army during Vietnam.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda of Prophetstown; two sons, Robert (Tamara) Morse of Manchester, TN and Brandon Morse of Prophetstown; two daughters, Jennifer Morse of Iowa City, IA and Shelley (Eric) Balsley of Sterling; two brothers, Larry (Eunice) Morse of Rochelle and Ron (Carolyn) Morse of Alabama; two sisters, Judy (Jack) Kuelper of Wyanet and Joanne Richardson of Rochelle; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Morse.

Memorial services will be 11 AM, Friday, January 29, 2016, at Schilling Funeral Home in Sterling with Reverend Jeff Coester, pastor of The Big Red Church in Sterling, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior from 10-11 AM at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded.
