Sierra Christine Burress, age 21 of Prophetstown, died Wednesday, March 01, 2017 at home.

Sierra was born on January 23, 1996 in Sterling. Surviving her are her parents, David (Missy) Burress of Prophetstown and Denna Retherford of Sterling; her grandfather, Edward "Kenneth" Burress of Prophetstown; her grandmother, Carol Wilson of Carlinville, Ill.; two sisters, Kayla Smith and Jennifer Kliber both of Carlinville, Ill.; her brother, Michael (Tommy) Burress of Cleveland, Ohio and two nieces. She is preceded in death by her grandmother, Janice Burress.

A private graveside service will be held at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling.
