James E. Holland
ROCK FALLS – James E. Holland, 80, of Rock Falls, died Sunday, June 4, 2017, at the University Hospitals and Clinic in Iowa City, Iowa.
He was born Feb. 2, 1937, in Sterling, the son of James and Anna Theresa (Hurley) Holland. He had worked as a mechanic for many years. He served in the Army from 1960 to 1962.
He had four children.
He was preceded death by his parents and a sister, Betty Jane Burgess.
Graveside service will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Tampico Memorial Cemetery, with military honors accorded by Rock Falls American Legion Post 902.
McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls is handling arrangements.
