Gerold E. Rebert, 81, of rural Prophetstown, passed away Tuesday, October 2, 2007, at CGH Medical Center, Sterling, Illinois.  Services are 10 a.m. Friday at Leon United Methodist Church, rural Prophetstown.  Burial is in Emmert Cemetery, rural Dixion, Illinois.  Visitation is 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Prophetstown.  He was born December 9, 1925 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan, the son of Clarence Markle Rebert and Mary M. Winters.   Surviving are his wife, Leona; children and spouses, Connie and Ron Bruder, Corinne and Chuck Abell, all of Rock Falls, Illinois.,Rodney of Prophetstown, Roland and Dorothy, Paulsbo, Washington; eight grandchildren; 19 greatgrandchildren.  .
