Arthur Johnson

Arthur E. Johnson, 90, formerly of 516 Market Street, Prophetstown, died Monday morning, July 16, 1990st Heritage House in Salem, Indiana, where he resided.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday in the Hughes Taylor Funeral HOuse, Salem, Indiana, followed by burial in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Salem.

Mr. Johnson was born ***day 30, 1900 in Whiteside County, the son of William and Wilhemina (Ackeberg) Johnson. He married Mary Frances Highfill on April 27, 1979. 

He was a long-time member of the First Lutheran Church, Prophetstown, and had retired from farming.

He is survived by his wife; two step-daughters, Mary Jane Fleenor of Salem, Indiana; and Sara Wilder of Bloomindale, Illinois; three step=grandchildren; 3 step-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Leroy W. Johnson of Prophetstown, and Fred Johnson of Yorktown.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, George.
