TAMPICO TORNADO - Thursday, Aug. 20, 1914
In Memory Of Dortha Rollo
Dortha Millicent ROLLO, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edmond ROLLO departed xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Aug. 8th, aged two years, one month and fourteen days. She leaves her father and mother, four brothers and one sister to mourn her sudden departure. Death was due to cholera infantum and was not caused by eating green grapes as stated in last week's Tornado.
As this sweet flower that scents the dawn And withers in the rising day, Thus lovely was the infant's dawn Thus swiftly sped it's life away. Now like a dew drop shrined within a crystal stone, Thou'rt safe in Heaven my dove! Safe with the source of love, The Everlasting Our And when the hour arrives From flesh that sets me free Thy spirit may await The first at Heaven's gate To Meet and Welcome Me.
Funeral services were conducted from the Church of Christ Monday at 10 o'clock by F. V. KEARNS. Interment was made in Greenville cemetery.
