HULDA HVALGREN

Hulda V. HVALGREN, 91, of Prophetstown, passed away Sat. Nov. 7, at Prophets Riverview Center. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 1:30 p.m. in the First Lutheran Church with Rev. L. S. ANDERSON officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery Memorials may be made to the First Lutheran Church of Prophetstown.

Hulda HVALGREN was born August 17, 1890 in Apelvik, Sweden to Lars and Josephine GUSTAFSON. She married Alphonse HVALGREN on Dec. 15, 1920. They lived in Prophetstown since their marriage.

She is survived by her husband, three daughters, Mrs. Dwight (Lillian) PARKER, of Lyndon, Mrs. Anna WHEAT of Prophetstown and Mrs. Thein (Edith) WAH of Kingsville, Texas; one brother, Nels GUSTAFSON of Sweden; one sister Elin LARSSON of Sweden; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters.
