DEATH OF DAN SHANKS

Dan SHANKS, a former resident of Tampico and father of Fred SHANKS, died Oct. 1, at the home of his daughter in Galena, Kas., according to word received last week by Mr. SHANKS. Funeral services were held Wednesday and interment was at Galena. The deceased was about 53 years of age and had been in poor health for some time. He leaves a son Fred of this place and a daughter Lenna of Galena. The deeceased was quite well known here having resided inTampico some twenty years ago and going from here to Missouri and later to Kansas. Two years ago he was back here and made his home with his son for some time.
