LOURDE T. RENNER DIES, FUNERAL ON MONDAY
Lourde T. Renner, 1407 Locust St., Sterling, was pronounced dead on arrival at Community Genral Hospital this morning. Mr. RENNER had been in ill health for some time.
The body was moved to the Melvin Funeral Home where friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 - 9 p. m. Sunday.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Melvin Funeral Home. The Rev. Jean W. Saltzman, pastor of the Fourth Street United Methodist Church will officiate, and burial will be in Tampico Memorial Cemetery at Tampico.
Lourde T. RENNER was born Oct. 18, 1901 at Deer Grove, the son of James and Lena RINEHART RENNER. He had resided in this area his entire life and attended Deer Grove School. Mr. RENNER owned and operated the RENNER STONE QUARRY at Dixon from 1941 until retirement and his daughter, Mrs. Egert continued the operation. He was a member of the Fourth Street United Methodist Church of Sterling.
His wife, Blanche RENNER, preceded Nov. 1, 1968, and a son, Bobbie Gene RENNER preceded July 4, 1951.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. LaFerne EGERT of Sterling; three sisters, Mrs. Sadie LEE and Mrs. Grace WHITE of Tampico; and Mrs. Burl (Mae) CANTRELL of Xenia; and two grandsons, Gary EGERT of Dixon and Robert EGERT of Sterling.
