Dorothy “Dollie” M. (Neill) McCreedy was my mother’s great aunt (Mom’s grandmother was Elizabeth (Neill) McKee, Dollie’s sister).
Obituary of Dorothy “Dollie/Dolly” M. Neill McCreedy from my great-great-aunt Nellie Neill’s scrapbook and her stone at Tampico Cemetery. Dollie was born 13 May 1872 in Arlington, Illinois and died 27 April 1959 in Little Rock, Arkansas, she was buried in Tampico Memorial Cemetery 30 April 1959. (Dollie was living with a daughter Ethel McCreedy Goode in Little Rock, Arkansas when she died.)

OBITUARY
Rites Thursday in Tampico for Mrs. McCreedy
Funeral services were h eld last Thursday in Tampico for Mrs. Dolly Neill McCREEDY who died suddenly of a heart attack in Little Rock, Arkansas, where she resided for a number of years.
She was the daughter of the late Willaim and Margaret Cokely (sic) NEILL and was and was born at the NEILL homestead east of Arlington where she grew to womanhood. She was married to William J. McCREEDY, also of East Arlington. They were married in Princeton by the Rev. J. M.BURDGE, pastor of the Arlington Presbyterian Church. They moved to Tampico where they resided for many years. After the death of Mr. McCREEDY and their daughter, Grace, she and her daughter, Dorothy, moved to Little Rock, Arkansas, where they were near another daughter, Mrs. Ethel GOODE, wife of Dr. Delmar GOODE.
Surviving are the following sisters, Miss Nellie NEILL, Mrs. Teresa GARDNER and Mrs. Jeanette HOPPS. Preceding her in death besides her parents and daughter, Grace, were the following sisters and brothers, Mrs. Lizzie McKEE, Mrs. Jenny HOLLER, Mrs. Margaret HENRY, Mrs. Susan MARTIN, David, William and John NEILL.
Mrs. McCREEDY was beloved by all who knew her for her courteous manner, generous spirit and friendly disposition. She gave freely of her means to many church organizations, among them the Arlington Presbyterian Church of which she was the oldest living member. She would have been 87 years of age this week. The many beautiful floral bouquets spoke of the esteem which her many friends had for her.
Pallbearers were six nephews, William and Herbert NEILL, Howard and Philip HOLLER, Emmett NEILL and Henry McKEE. Burial was in theTampico cemetery.
