DEATH OF LITTLE CHILD

Artice Aflene (sic) McKENZIE daughter of Arthur and Cora McKENZIE was born August 4, 1922 and died at the home of her parents on Sunday morning. January 14, 1923 after an illness of a very few hours. Awakening in the night she was found  to be breathing heavily and after the arrival of a physician she did not respond to treatment and quetly passed away seemingly suffering from a weak heart.

The funeral services were conducted at the M. E. church by F. V. KEARNS, pastor of Church of Christ assisted by Rev. COBB and Rev. GABLE Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The pall bearers were young ladies of the "Ready-to-do"  Class, Misses Darlene WETZELL, Vesta DENISON, Marjorie GABLE and Velma HUNTER. The little one was laid to rest **** ****
