Death of Mrs. Susan W. Britt

The remains of the late Mrs. Susan Wreight (sic) BRITT who died last week in Rock Falls, were brought to Tampico last week Friday and interment was in the Tampico cemetery, Rev. POTTER of Rock Falls having charge of the services. The deceased was the mother of Elzie BRITT of this place. She was born in 1828 in New York state and came to Illinois with her parents when sixteen years old. She was married to Thomas L. BRITT when twenty years of age. He died seventeen years ago. Those who survive her death are William BRITT of Kansas, Hearn of Clinton, Ia., Elzie of Tampico, John, Spencer, Hattie, Delta, Nancy and Lottie of Rock Falls.
