FORMER RESIDENT DEAD

Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Lee, 71, of Rock Falls were held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock in the Wheelock funeral home with Rev. James R. Ublinger in charge of the service. Burial was in the Odd Fellows cemetery in Rock Falls. Mrs. Lee was a sister of T. E. Britt of Tampico who, with his wife, Frank Collins, Matt Roche and daughter Gladys and Mrs. Mary Gaffey, attended the service.

Nancy Ellen Britt was born in New Bedford on August 31, 1868 and spent the early part of her life in New Bedford and Tampico where she received her education. December 8 1888 she married Marshall T. Lee of Sterling. Three children were born to this union, Harry A. Lee, Lawrence L. Lee who preceded her in death, and Lottie L. Britt of Rock Falls. Her husband died in 1908.
