DEATH OF MRS. WM. PENTLAND
Mrs. Wm. Pentland, wife of the Yorktown hardware merchant and an old settler of the country south of here, died at her home west of Yorktown very suddenly last Sunday evening at nine o’clock. She suffered a stroke at six o’clock which was followed by death a few hours later.
The deceased was born in Manlius township, November 8, 1863 and spent the greater portion of her life in the country southwest of here. She was married to Wm. Pentland in 1887, who with five children; George, Clyde, Dewayne, Winnie and Mabel survive.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 10 o’clock at the late residence and then at 1 o’clock at the U.B. church south west of New Bedford, where interment was in the church cemetery.

Greenville: The funeral of Mrs. William Pentland was held at New Bedford last Wednesday. She died at her home near Yorktown from paralysis. Mr. Pentland is an old resident of Walnut and his wife was Miss Lena Culp of Manlius.
