ORSON S. BOUND

Orson S. Bound Dies; Services Set for Sunday



Prophetstown -- Orson S. Bound, 64, farmer, passed away early Thursday morning at his home following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Paul Olson officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

Orson Sylvester Bound was born June 1, 1905, in Prophetstown, the son of Luther J. and Elizabeth Beechel Bound. He attended the rural Prophetstown schools and served on the board and building committees when Centerville School was built.

He married Barbara Peterson of Prophetstown in Princeton, Dec. 12, 1931.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church.

He is survived by the widow; one son, Darrell, and one brother Earl and one sister, Mrs. Ida Hecht, all of Prophetstown; also one niece and one nephew.

Friends may call at the Gardner Funeral Chapel from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Memorials may be directed to the Heart Fund.
