Mark J. Reichard

            Mark J. Reichard, 47, of Prophetstown, IL, died Sunday, March 19, 2006 at CGH Medical Center, Sterling, IL.  Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Prophetstown.  Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Per his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.  A memorial fund has been established.

            Mark was born on July 8, 1958 in Morrison, IL, the son of Joe Jr. and Donna (Thompson) Reichard.  He married the former Amy Jacobs in 1974.

            He was an avid NASCAR fan.

            Survivors include daughters, Linday Reichard, West Des Moines, IA, Shelby Reichard, Sterling, his father, Joe Reichard, Jr., Prophetstown; and sisters, Rita Reichard, Tracey, CA, Renee Brandt, Fulsom, CA and Jamie Reichard, Prophetstown.

            He was preceded by his mother.
