Steve Dorathy

            Steve R. Dorathy, 54, of Sterling, died Saturday, June 11, 2005 in Costa Rica.  He was employed by DB Sales as a manufacturer’s representative.

            Mr. Dorathy was born March 17, 1951, in Morrison the son of Robert and Emma Lou (Cushing) Dorathy.  He served in the Air Force.  He married Donna J. Barnett on Jan. 25, 1985, in Lake Tahoe, CA.

            Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Amy Dorathy and a son, R.J. Dorathy, both at home; and a sister, Julie (Michael) Dorathy Oelrich of Santa Rosa Beach, FL.

            He was preceded in death by his parents.

            Memorial service was held June 23 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sterling, with Mark Oehlert, pastor, officiating.  Visitation was held before the service.  Arrangemetns were completed by Schilling Funeral Home, Sterling.
