Phillip M. Zigler

            Philip M. Zigler, Jr., 63, of Tampico, died Monday, August 28, 2006, at his home after an extended illness.  He was a welder and worked salvage for many years with his father.

            Mr. Zigler was born February 7, 1943, in Sterling, the son of Philip M. and Betty Jane (Aument) Zigler, Sr.

            Survivors include three sons, Philip Zigler of Centralia, Jody (Kenjala) Zigler of Mustang, OK and Russell Zigler of FL; his mother of Rock Falls; two sisters, Sandy Thrower of Sterling and Judy (Rick) Hurless of Rock Falls; four brothers, Gary (Joan) Zigler of Pensacola, FL, Rick (Marge) Zigler of Tampico, David Zigler of Mount Morris and Dale Zigler of Rock Falls; and five grandchildren.

            He was preceded in death by his father.

            Cremation rites were accorded.
