MILLER EBERLE OF ROCK FALLS DIES THURSDAY
Rites For Aged Resident Saturday - Burial In I.O.O.F. Cemetery
 
Death came to Miller Milton Eberle, 89, one of the oldest residents of Rock Falls, at 4:30 p.m. Thursday in his home 504 Eighth avenue, Rock Falls.  He had been in failing health for the last month from the infirmities of old age, but was bedfast for only a week.
 
The body was removed to the Wheelock funeral home in Rock Falls where funeral rites are to be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, followed by burial in the Odd Fellows cemetery, Rock Falls.  Rev. R. M. Furnish, Rock Falls Methodist pastor, will conduct the rites.
 
Miller Milton Eberle was born November 15, 1847 in Strasburg, Pa.  He came to Sterling at the age of 15 years and later moved to Rock Falls to make his permanent home.  Mr. Eberle had lived on Eighth avenue for more than 50 years.  His wife preceded him in death 20 years ago.
 
Four children survive, Mrs. W. H. Kelsey, Charles and Harry Eberle of Rock Falls and Mrs. Florence Lockhart of Moline.  He also leaves two brothers and three sisters.  These are:  Mooney Eberle and Mrs. Robert Harper, Rock Falls;  John Eberle, Sterling and Mrs. Charles Huber and Miss Mary Eberle, Chicago.  There are five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
