Clifford Johnson, 54, Passes Tuesday Morning
Clifford Johnson, 54, 704 Fifth avenue, Rock Falls, passed away at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, at the Sterling public hospital. The remains were taken to the Wheelock funeral home, Rock Falls, and will lie in state from Wednesday afternoon until 10 a.m. Thursday morning.
Funeral services will be held at 1:15 p.m. Thursday in the family home on Fifth avenue for the immediate family and at 2 p.m. in the Wheelock funeral home, Rev. H. W. Luitz, of the Twin City Gospel Center, Rock Falls, will officiate. Burial will be in the Riverside cemetery.
Clifford Johnson was born June 11, 1895, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Johnson in Sterling. He is survived by his parents.
