Funeral Rites For Auto Crash Victims At Tampico Friday
Tampico: - Funeral rites for Mrs. Lauren Gerber and children, David and Ruth Ann, who were killed in an auto accident Monday night at Sheldon, Ia., will be held at 2:30 p.m (CST) Friday in the Tampico Baptist Church. The Rev. Frank Frost will officiate and burial will be made in the Tampico Memorial Cemetery.
Services are to be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Sheldon, Ia., following which the bodies will be brought to the Parent Funeral Chapel in Tampico.
The husband and father, Rev. Lauren Gerber, who suffered serious injuries, has been moved from the Sheldon hospital to a Sioux City, Ia., hospital. A daughter, Rose Marie, who was also injured in the crash, remains unconscious in the Sheldon hospital.
A former resident of Tampico, Rev. Gerber is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Gerber of Tampico and nephew of Mrs. William Peterson, The Gazette corespondent in Tampico.
