George A. Edsel Dies Saturday, Rites Monday
George A. Edsel, W. LeFevre Rd., Sterling, died at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Riverview Nursing Home in Rock Falls.
Seervices were held today in the Melvin Funeral Home with the Rev. David Jefford, pastor of the Free Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in Riverside cemetery.
He was born July 19, 1885, in Towanda, Pa. He was married to Edna Kochner on Nov. 29, 1952, at Davenport.
Surviving are his widow, one brother, Merlonm Towanda Pa., and a sister, Mrs. Hattie Brague, Moureton, Pa.
