Ralph S. McKenzie Dies, Rites On Sunday
Tampico: - Ralph S. McKenzie, 82, died at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Riverside Nursing Home in Rock Falls.
The body was taken to the Parent Funeral Home in Tampico where friends may call after noon on Saturday. Funeral services will be conducted at the chapel of the funeral home Sunday at 1:30 p.m Burial will be in the Tampico Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. McKenzie was born at Yorktown on June 21, 1876, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank McKenzie. He was married to Elizabeth McCracken. He had lived in the Tampico area his entire lifetime.
Survivors are two sons, Warren McKenzie, Bangor, Mich.; Neil McKenzie, Chicago; one daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Hattie Marie) Reberty, Tempe, Ariz.; seven grandchildren and three brothers.
He was preceded in death by his wife, who died in 1948, his parents and one sister.
