Mrs. Ezra Guither, Walnut, Passes Away
 
Walnut: - Funeral services for Mrs. Ezra (Mabel) Guitheer, 75, of Ohio, who died Thursday at 3 p.m. in the Dixon Public Hospital, will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.  in the Ross Funeral Home in Walnut.  Officiating will be Rev. O. E. Cole, pastor of the Red Oak EUB Church, of which Mrs. Guither was a member, and Rev. Carl Conrad, pastor of the Kasbeer Community Church.  Interment will be in the Red Oak Cemetery, northeast of Walnut.
 
Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday evening.
 
The deceased was born on June 12, 1877 in Pearl City, the daughter of Fred and Margaret Kuhlemeyer.  In February of 1910 she married Ezra Guither and they farmed in the vicinity of Walnut until 1957 when they retired and moved to Ohio.
 
Surviving besides her husband are one dauighter, Mrs. Elmer (Ione) Wangelin, Walnut, and a son, Myron, Grand Prairie, Texas, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
 
Also surviving are a brother, Albert Kuhlemeyer, Pearl City , and two sisters, Mrs. Philip Pope, Naperville, and Mrs. Sam Guithere, Freeport.
